Brooklyn Nine Nine Gina Funny Moments
Welcome Back, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine": Our Top 10 Favorite Gina Linetti Moments
"NINE NIIIINE" Season 6, here we come!
It was a dark day filled with gloom and despair when Brooklyn Nine Nine had been cancelled. The cast and creatives were packing their bags and calling their loved ones telling them that their time on the show had ended and there would not be another season. But thank God for Twitter and Brooklyn Nine Nine's "die hard" (pun intended) fans, that they created such a #Renew99 frenzy that NBC took them under their wing and thus, Season 6 was born.
Unfortunately, some good things must come to an end. Chelsea Peretti announced last October that she will not be doing a full season 6 alongside the cast (sad emoji, crying emoji) but will be reoccurring throughout the remainder of the show. I'm sure we can all agree that Gina Linetti was one of the most iconic secretaries in all of television between her on fleek comebacks and tricked out dance moves, she will be deeply missed this season.
In honor of Her Greatness, I give you our Top 10 Gina Linetti moments:
1. Season 2, Ep. 15: "Windbreaker City"
Welllll…..yup that pretty much sums that up.
2. Season 3, Ep. 8: "Ava"
She understands the that WiFi=lifeline. You must salvage any bit of internet you can muster. Hat's off to you Regina!
3. Season 4, Ep. 3: "Coral Palms Pt. 3"
Now all I can see in my head is a mash up of this and Jay-Z/Alicia Key's "Empire State of Mind." THAT would be epic.
4. Season 1, Ep. 6: "Halloween"
Being Holt's secretary require skills: Lots of procrastination, endless hours playing Kwazy Kupcakes, and knowing how to fold police reports into paper airplanes.
5. Season 2, Ep. 17: "Boyle-Linetti Wedding"
WHAT WE LEARN FROM HERE: There is a level of pretty that cannot comprehend Lord of the Ring puns.
Essentials, friend. You must be able to fix smoke machines to ride the Gina Linetti coaster of cool.
6. Season 3, Ep. 10: "Yippie Kayak"
Gina is a Christmas-saving-superhero. And for that, I thank her for her service.
7. Season 1, Ep. 3: "The Slump"
Just a GIF of Gina breakin' it down. Quote Gina: " Look, I can't help it if my life is literally a Step Up movie."
8. Season 1, Ep. 22: "Charges and Specs"
Verbal expressionism in its purist form.
9. Season 3, Ep. 1: "New Captain"
Just so we can fully comprehend what Gina Linetti is to the world.
10. Season 1, Ep. 5: "The Vulture"
Obvs, Jake! PRIORITIES. Gina would never go anywhere without her handy dandy blow dryer. Also she always makes sure to have wolf attire available because she is "wolf-worthy."
Season 5 of Brooklyn Nine Nine left us with cliffhangers and much anticipation. Like I CAN'T read Holt's expression — did he get the job as commissioner? What will happen with Jake and Amy's future as newly married partners-solving-crime? Will Terry ever get over his obsession with yogurt? With Season 6 here, there is only not much time to binge watch the show and treasure the last remaining Gina Linetti quips and fun loving one-liners. Gina is #goals4life heart-eyed emoji and I will treasure her forever.
